Postcrossing! My virtual tourist spots!

在2010年12月底加入了'Postcrossing'網站 開啟了與世界各國傳遞漂亮的明信片之旅。二月陸續收到了不同國家寄來的明信片。我覺得這是一個很好玩的事情。除了自己可以很開心的看著來自不同地區發送來的明信片之外，更感覺來自陌生人的溫暖。另外，更可以把明信片帶到教室中，讓孩子們實際感受到非英文母語人士使用英文作為交流語言的鐵証!希望孩子們也可以陸續的加入寫明信片的行列!

I joined Postcrossing since the end of December in 2010. While waiting for my first 5 postcards delivered, I received four postcards in February. This is something cool. Not only can I receive postcards from all over the world, I also feel graceful and joyful that strangers are willing to send postcards to me! In addition, I bring the cards received to the classroom and show the pupils what they can do with English. They can see how practical and useful the language they're learning can be. I hope they will be more willing to study English and start writing a postcard in English! =)

以下貼上2月收到的明信片。
Below are the postcards received in February, 2011.

第一張明信片來自美國的護士小姐。很顯然Cora是個愛好動物的人，她養了好多動物。我家不能養寵物，因此詢問是否能夠看看她動物的照片，沒想到她二話不說，飛快的又寄出了很多照片過來~真是太感動了
My first postcard from Postcrossing is from the U.S.A. The sender, Cora, sent this cute postcard for my students and me. She also has many pets and is an animal lover. When I asked if I could have some pictures of her pets, she sent me some without a question. =) Thank you, Cora!

第二張照片在我肚子餓的時候收到了。來自英國，顧名思義，特色菜就要給它端出來--'Fish n Chips'。老實說，真的是沒什麼好吃的。吃過一次也就夠了，還是台灣美食超讚! Magdalena原本是波蘭人，最近剛搬到英國，不知道她有沒有發現好吃的素菜呢?(不過,怎麼好多波蘭人吃素?大家都是愛好動物嗎?) 喜歡她說的一句話:

任意門旅遊法--寄信到另一個國度即可不出門就上路。

The next postcard is from Great Britain. The sender, Magdalena, is from Poland but currently lives in England. I like how she values the postcards exchange project.

To send a letter is an excellent way to go somewhere without moving anything but your heart..

 來自比利時的一隻和平鴿，真是美呆了。雖然寄件者告訴我畫家的名字，但是我還是不太確定到底是什麼!不知道是否有善心人士要告訴我呢?
The postcard is from Belgium. The sender, vad, sent me this card by the famous Belgium artist. However, I don't really know how to write the name...cause I can't understand the handwriting. It's something like "Raguitte" or something. =) I loved the card.

Eva小姐捎來了這張俏皮又可愛的明信片，來自捷克。我雖然不知道這個卡通是什麼，但是我覺得那圖案似乎有點嚇人。是什麼意思呢? 不過我最愛的還是郵差伯伯蓋的情人節印章, 真是太酷了!

The last postcard I received is from the Czech Republic. The sender, Eva, sent the cute card with fun loving cartoon characters. It reminded me of Felix the cat though.  I don't really know who wrote the cartoon. What I love about this card is that it was delivered on Valentine's Day, so I got a cool stamp on it.
